Kerry Hansen is the author of Polterghost, a middle-grade novel. After earning her Master of Arts in English at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, she spent over twenty years in education as a college composition instructor, high school learning resource center director, and writing specialist for historically underrepresented college students. She also taught preschool while she raised her two kids. When she's not writing, she's a bookseller at an independent bookstore, writing consultant, and president of her local library board. Since 2016, she has been an active member of the Society of Children's Book Writers & Illustrators (SCBWI). When she's not writing, she's exploring cemeteries and screaming during horror movies. She lives in rural Wisconsin with her husband and absurdly large dog.
