By: Caitlin Seal

Death is only the beginning.

Naya Garth's first solo mission for her merchant father goes horribly awry when she wakes up undead in a foreign city.

Resurrected in order to spy for her country on the orders of the mysterious Ambassador Valn, Naya must embrace a state of being that her culture despises in order to complete her missions. Assuming the face and persona of a servant to the necromancer who raised her from the dead, she struggles to adapt to her spectral state while completing a crash course in spycraft – and developing the sneaking suspicion that she was brought back wrong . . .

Embroiled in politics, kidnappings, murder, intrigue, and an entirely unexpected romance, Naya will need every ounce of her wits to escape a fate worse than death. This imaginative debut is perfect for fans of Graceling and Daughter of Smoke and Bone.
