As author of Hidden Pumpkins, Anne enjoys taking unique ideas and sharing them with children through her writing. Anne, a graduate of the University of Michigan, was born and raised in the Detroit area. She grew up vacationing in northern Michigan and lived and worked there each summer while attending the university. Anne met her husband during one of those magical summers in the north, and it is her love of the area that inspires her writing and ideas. Anne and her husband live with their four children in Traverse City, Michigan, overlooking West Grand Traverse Bay on Old Mission Peninsula.

Anne is also the author of Tears for Mother Bear, Hidden Cherries, Lighthouse Fireflies and Has Anyone Seen Christmas?.
